Keith Kondakor

Keith was born in Nuneaton and has lived with his wife, Michele, in Weddington ward in Nuneaton for 26 years. They are passionate about protecting and improving our town and have been campaigning on a wide range of local issues for the last two decades.

Keith was elected as Nuneaton’s first Green councillor in 2012 for the Borough Council and 2013 for the County Council. He lost the County Council seat by just 10 votes in 2021 during the Covid pandemic, but retained the Borough Council seat until he stood down from there in 2024 to focus on the County Council. The Borough Council seats for Weddington were won by his wife, Michele and fellow Green, Mike Wright in 2024.

Keith always puts the interests of our town ahead of party politics and is very loud and has been an independent voice on both councils. Before becoming a full time Councillor, he ran his own firm designing broadcast audio electronics and software. In his limited time off he does mountain walking, cycling and, recently, a bit of running.
