We look forward to the time when we can, once again, meet up for Green Socials. Having been apart for so long, it seems to hard to imagine what we will do! Hopefully, if things are a bit easier in the summer, we can have a picnic meet-up or similar as we suspect we will all be feeling rather cautious. In time though, we hope to be back to meeting in a pub for a drink or meal, having theatre trips and all such plaeasant social activities that we used to take for granted.
The next Full Council meeting is on April 21st 2021. The meetings are currently being held virtually, via MS Teams. Members of the public can ask questions or submit statements, but must submit them by noon on the day before, as per the instructions below. The length of meeting is very variable but the public partcipation is at the beginning of the meetings so you do not have to sit through the whole meeting unless you want to.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - (maximum 20 minutes). Public participation will
be by written submissions or orally through invitation to the meeting either via
the internet, or by telephone, utilising MS Teams. Public participation will be
arranged by Committee Services.
Members of the public wishing to ask a question or a statement must submit
this electronically by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and

Our next local meeting will be via Zoom, on Monday 22nd February 2021, gathering online from 7pm for 7.15pm start
Pre-Covid there were regular litter picks around the area, organised by different groups.
Obviously none are scheduled at the present time. Some of us have done individual litter picks are part of our exercise as there seems to be more litter than ever, sadly. It'll be great to get back to being able to meet up for community litter picks - let's hope that is not too far away!
Some litter picks are promoted on the Keep Nuneaton Tidy Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2154961071389889/
The Spring Conference 2021 will be entirely online, from 1st-7th March
The last West Midlands Regional Gathering took place online from Thursday 14th to Saturday 16th January 2021. Obviously it is nice to meet together in person but the online conference meant that people did not have to worry about travel time and costs, which can prevent some people from attending.
The summer conference is likely to be in July 2021 but we are not aware that a date has been set yet.
The next Full Council meeting at North Warwickshire Borough Council is on Wednesday 5th May 2021 at 6.30 p.m. Members of the public can ask questions at the meeting.
Information regarding how to participate is here.
Come and join us!
The local party hosts a range of events, from our monthly socials (Green Drinks), to our 'business meetings', to community litter picks. Some of our members also take part in other national and regional events, whether that be a protest or conference or some other event. This page should keep you up to date with what's going on! Feel free to come down to any of the events listed!
