Four years ago the leader of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough council, Dennis Harvey, decided to make our award winning town centre manager redundant at a cost of around £25,000. For four years Dennis Harvey has claimed we have less empty shops and lower parking charges than other towns. We have continuously challenged those claims and said we need to admit we have a problem.
We are happy the council has now taken on a new very experienced Town Centre Manager and will do all we can to support him and make sure we become a successful borough once again.
