We attended and spoke at the 3 day, phase one of the Inspection of the Loacl Plan. The Borough Council were unable to defend a lot of what has happened during the 11 years the Plan has been developed.
The key areas that were discussed at this early stage were the soundness of the plan making process, the Sustainability Appraisal, the duty to co-operate with neighbouring councils and the housing numbers.
During this process the Council was asked to release more documents, including the original draft of the Sustainability Appraisal. The documents can be found at https://www.nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk/downloads/21050/examination_documents
